QAAM's Vision is to be Maryland's leading proponent of Quality Assurance for Information Technology.
QAAM's Mission
is to advance the principles and practices of Quality Assurance by
providing opportunities for people to interact, share information, and
learn.
QAAM's Goals are simply to:
- Model the principles of Quality Management.
- Provide opportunities for people to interact and share information.
- Increase
individual knowledge of Quality to promote positive changes in attitude
and behavior for ourselves, our workplaces, and our communities.
- Provide training in the interdependent principles of Quality Assurance.
Quality Assurance Institute (QAI)
QAAM
is a member of the Quality Assurance Institute (QAI) federation of
chapters. QAI is exclusively dedicated to partnering with the
enterprise-wide Information Quality profession. QAI is an international
organization consisting of member companies in search of effective
methods for detection-software quality control and prevention-software
quality assurance. QAI provides leadership and state-of-the-art solution
in the form of consulting, education services, and assessments. For

QAAM Meetings
QAAM
schedules meetings on various QA-related topics in Maryland. Meetings
are each month between September and May (excluding December). In
October, QAAM hosts its annual local QAI Conference.
QAAM also seeks host companies for their meetings. For more information
